The College List

We'll work together to create a balanced college list compromised of Likely, Target, and Reach schools.  With more than 4,000 schools in the US - we'll explore which colleges are the right 'fit' based on your individual interests, needs, and qualifications. 

 

Completing Applications 

We'll help coordinate the entire application process - from collecting application materials to completing and submitting the final applications.  We'll provide clarity on application instructions, review forms, provide specialized guidance, and ensure you meet all deadlines.  
 

Essays​

Our professional writing specialists have earned MFAs in Creative Writing.  They are here to support you through every step of the essay process - from brainstorming exercises that help you develop essay topics, outlining, and final editing.  This is the one part of the application where you have full control.  Our goal is to amplify your 'voice' in the Personal Statement. 

 

Resume

Let's share your story and accomplishments.  The student activity sheet or resume is an important part of the application.  We'll create vibrant descriptions that highlight your extracurricular involvement.  

 

Standardized Testing Strategy

In a world of test-optional and test-free schools; we'll explore the potential benefits of completing standardized testing.  Deciding if to test, when to test, and which test take are an essential part of applying to college.
 

Letters of Recommendation

Deciding which teachers, counselors, and coaches to ask for supportive letters of recommendation is important.  We'll discuss how and when to make requests and how to help your recommenders craft the most effective and genuine letters of recommendation.

 

Campus Tours

Visiting a college campus is one of the most exciting parts of the application journey.  We'll help you decide which schools to visit and make the most out of your time on campus.  

  

Interviews

Being prepared for a college interview can make a big difference.  Our counselors have interviewed more than 1,000 prospective students at the most selective universities.  We know how to conduct effective mock interviews that prepare you for what questions to expect and how to convey your best self to admission officers or alumni. 

 

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Regardless of individual financial circumstances, We'll provide guidance on which schools offer merit aid (scholarships) and how to complete need-based financial aid applications to maximize your potential for outside funding.
