About Alex
I've dedicated my career to helping students and families navigate the complexities of the college admission process. Working in the admission offices of The George Washington University, American University, Babson College, and UCLA, I've gained invaluable insight and experience into what colleges were looking for in the admission process.

Serving as Director of College Counseling at the International High School of San Francisco, I supported hundreds of students and families apply to selective colleges in the United States and abroad; becoming one of the leading experts in international college admission.

I've presented at the national conference for Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) as well as multiple regional conferences (WACAC & NJACAC) on emerging trends and the use of predictive analytics in college admission. I currently serve on the Counselor Advisory Board for the University of Toronto, one of the largest universities in North America.

I hold a BA from The George Washington University in International Affairs & Cultural Anthropology, and an MBA from American University in Washington, DC.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking coastal and redwood trails in Northern California with my husband, Daniel. Together we have visited all 50 states and nearly as many countries. I've combined my passion for travel with love of roller coasters, serving as an official reviewer for the Golden Ticket Awards - the Oscars of the Amusement Park industry.
